Depression is a state in which you may no longer feel joy or pleasure in your life, causing you to feel tired, exhausted, irritable, angry, guilty, and/or worthless. Depression can lead to thoughts of suicide and can have a great impact on your physical energy levels, and can drain the life-energy out of you.
It can creep up on you gradually, with or without your awareness of it doing so, or in can jump into your life in an instant. But, but when it begins to affect many aspects of your life and leaves you with a sense of despair and hopelessness you realize something isn’t quite right.
